An historic branch of the Royal British Legion is to close because it cannot attract enough younger members.
The branch in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, will disband at the end of the month after 75 years.
All the members are over 65 years of age and the Burnham chairman Norman Lees died last month, prompting a vote among remaining members at its annual general meeting not to form a new committee.
